The BC Early Learning Framework: Introduction and Overview
Enjoy 3 hours of professional development in this self-paced online workshop for Early Childhood Educators and Child Care Professionals.
In this 3-hour self-paced course participants will get an overview of the revisions, vision, the BC Early Learning Framework truth and reconciliation commitments as well as the First Peoples Principles and Early Learning Framework Principles to reimagine what Early Childhood and Education can be.
Free workshops on the BC Early Learning Framework are available through other websites and groups, however quite a few educators end up turning away from the BC Early Learning Framework because they feel a disconnect between how the BC Early Learning Framework is presented and their practice. The purpose of this workshop is to make the BC Early Learning Framework more relatable for Early Childhood Educators by including stories and anecdotes throughout the workshop.
PLEASE NOTE: This self-paced workshop was recorded in 2021. You will have access to the workshop immediately after registering for it, and be able to obtain a Completion Certificate after watching the entire workshop.
Audience: This workshop is geared toward supporting educators who work with children ages 0-8.
Length: 3 hours
