Workshop Description

This workshop is presented by an experienced Speech and Language Pathologist who is based out of BC. The content in this presentation will address: 

- normal speech

-language and communication from ages 0- 5 

- communication delays and various challenges (e.g., stuttering, voice, Autism, feeding difficulties) 

- multilingual considerations - how to access help in BC - strategies to facilitate communication development

PLEASE NOTE: This is a recording from a workshop that was presented in Feb 2023. You will have access to the workshop immediately after registering for it, and be able to obtain a Completion Certificate after watching the entire workshop.

About the Instructor

Speech and Language Pathologist Shari Linde

Shari is the director of Advantage Speech-Language Pathology, a large group of therapists based out of Richmond, BC. Shari has been a speech-language pathologist since 1994, and has completed advanced training in Oral Myofunctional Disorders, the Hanen programs "More Than Words", "It Takes Two to Talk", and "TalkAbility", and the Meaningful Speech course on Natural Language Acquisition/Gestalt Language Processing. Shari is currently on the Board of Directors for Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC); she was the Chair of the SAC Board of Directors for the 2021-22 term.

  • Can I get a refund or credit after purchase?

    No refund or credit is provided once the workshop is purchased. It is up to the participant to go through the material at their own pace. If you are unsatisfied with the material please contact the instructor directly.

  • Will I get a certificate of completion?

    Yes, certificates will be available automatically upon completion of the workshop. We keep record and track participation of all who register.

  • How do I replace a lost certificate?

    Remember to download your certificate and any resources. If you lose your certificate, just contact us and we provide you with a new one.

  • Will this professional development be accepted by the ECE registry in my province or state?

    Ultimately it is up to the participant to ensure this workshop would be accepted by the ECE authority in their province or state. Each certificate of completion will include our contact information so that we can support educators to get their professional development hours. PLEASE COMPLETE ALL MATERIALS IN FULL. You must complete all the materials in full and answer all questions so that we can ethically verify your certificate with any ECE registry.
